Boulder King Soopers shooting victims identified

The 10 victims killed in the Boulder King Soopers shooting included a cop, a former New York photo editor, a local actress and three grocery-store workers.

The victims, ranging in age from 20 to 65, were identified after medical examiners “worked overnight” to confirm their names and notify their families, Colorado cops said Tuesday.

Authorities identified those killed in Monday’s attack as: Denny Stong, 20; Neven Stanisic, 23; Rikki Olds, 25; Tralona Bartkowiak, 49; Suzanne Fountain, 59; Teri Leiker, 51; Eric Talley, 51; Kevin Mahoney, 61; Lynn Murray, 62, and Jody Waters, 65.

Talley, a police officer and father of seven, was one of the first officers to respond to the shooting.

“He took his job as a police officer very seriously,” his father, Homer Talley, said. “He loved his kids and his family more than anything.”
