JUST IN: President Trump says “we have a really unified party”

·

President Trump says “we have a really unified party” after a closed-door meeting with Senate Republicans focused on the SAVE America Act, and honestly this is exactly the pressure moment Republicans needed because voters are done hearing excuses on election integrity.

Trump canceled a bill-signing event earlier in the day after frustration over the Senate’s failure to advance the SAVE America Act, and that should tell every Republican Senator that this is not some side issue the base is going to forget about. The SAVE America Act is simple common sense: proof of citizenship, voter ID, cleaner election procedures, and basic protections so American elections are decided by American citizens. Democrats can scream, the media can spin, and weak Republicans can hide behind process, but the country knows this is popular because normal people understand that you should prove who you are and prove you are a citizen before voting in a federal election.

Trump walked out saying it was a great meeting, but now the meeting has to turn into action. Unity is good. Results are better. Pass the SAVE America Act and prove the Senate Republican majority actually understands the mandate voters gave them.

SHAMEFUL DODGE: SCHUMER GOES SILENT WHEN PRESSED ON HIS OWN "25 MILLION" VOTER ROLL BOMBSHELL

@SenSchumer had PLENTY to say when he warned the SAVE America Act would strip 25 million people from voter rolls. He had NOTHING to say when our LindellTV reporter,

@alisonintheknow, asked him to explain it. Why didn't you say "citizens," Senator? Just "25 million people." Is that an admission noncitizens are voting in American elections? Is the housing bill really more important than securing our elections, Mr. Leader? SILENCE. Schumer walked away without answering a single question.
