California Constitutional Default: September 9, 2022
AENN
On September 9, 1850 California was granted statehood by Congress. That was 172 years ago when the 31st state in the Union of States called the United States of America was “admitted” into the Union on and equal status with all other states.
For years September 9th was always known as “Admission’s Day” and was recognized by political figures, schools and various personalities. In 2022 “Admission’s Day” is very seldom recognized by anyone and has now fallen into disfavor of another sort having fallen on that once special date.
New California State chose September 9, 2022 as the date to announce that the 31st state California was in Constitutional Default. California was not abiding by the terms and conditions of the “compact” which was granted to the state when it was admitted into the union in September of 1850.
