The map of New California State is a representation based on the rural areas of California.  When you examine the rural areas of the state you realize the only way in which proper representation for those who live in those areas is to develop boundries which include large areas of the state based on it’s “ruralness”.  Various election maps of the recent 2014 and 2016 elections give a glimpse into how New California State will look politically.

The 2016 United States House of Representatives elections in California were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, with a primary election on June 7, 2016. Voters elected the 53 U.S. Representatives from the state of California, one from each of the state’s 53 congressional districts. The elections coincided with the elections of other offices, including a presidential election, as well as other elections to the House of Representatives, elections to the United States Senate and various state and local elections.

The 2014 California gubernatorial election was held on November 4, 2014, to elect the Governor of California, concurrently with elections for the rest of California’s executive branch, as well as elections to the United States Senate in other states and elections to the United States House of Representatives and various state and local elections.

Incumbent Democratic Governor Jerry Brown ran for re-election to a second consecutive and fourth overall term in office. Although governors are limited to lifetime service of two terms in office, Brown previously served as governor from 1975 to 1983, and the law only affects terms served after 1990.

The 2014 California State Assembly elections were held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, with the primary election held on June 3, 2014, coinciding with the elections of State Senate elections and other races, including the gubernatorial election.

Ultimately, the elections saw the California Republican Party pick up districts 16366566, and recapture the vacant district 40, while losing district 44, thus rolling back the three-seat gain that the Democrats made in the 2012 elections, and ending their two-thirds supermajority in the chamber.

Voters in the 80 districts of the California State Assembly elected their representatives. The elections coincided with the elections for other offices, including for U.S. President and the state senate.

Benefiting from the large Democratic turnout due to the general election, the California Democratic Party made gains by ousting three Republican incumbents in the 60th65th, and 66th districts, thus regaining the two-thirds supermajority that they had lost in the previous elections.
