New federal lawsuit for Jeffersonians wanting to create a new state in Northern California

**** Mark Baird now claims Congress should have 6,230 Representatives

Mark Baird, Win Carpenter and Terry Raposa take a new twist and turn in their lawsuit for lack of representation.

State of Jefferson leaders file to intervene in federal case in Washington D.C. claiming the U.S. House of Representatives should have 6,230 representatives rather than 435.

Attorney Scott Stafne asks federal judge in their case against California why it’s taking so long for a decision regarding the first hearing. He informed the federal judge that his clients Citizens for Fair Representation, Baird, Carpenter and Raposa have filed in a New Jersey case claiming they are under-represented in Congress by 5,795 representatives.

Citizens for Fair Representation is a fictitious business name set up in Shasta County by State of Jefferson Formation, a Nevada corporation with jurisdiction in Wyoming. The group claims they have raised more than $376,000 for their lawsuit.
