He says the people who stepped up to serve this president and tried to fix corruption could become the targets if the guard changes in Congress. Not the people who weaponized the Department of Justice, the FBI, or the intelligence agencies. Not the ones who buried the truth or abused whistleblowers.

Dr. Shindelar says the people now in office who took an oath to stop the weaponization of government and failed to act will be the ones held accountable. The very crimes they were supposed to uncover will be turned against them.

He warns the fallout could break the hearts of those who believed this president would fix the problem and could lead to impeachment, legal charges, and punishment through the Public Integrity Section at the Department of Justice.
