UPDATE from the FBI press conference: More chilling details on the foiled far-left New Year's Eve bombing plot by the Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF) extremists.
FBI LA Assistant Director Akil Davis confirmed:
• Four suspects arrested Friday near Twentynine Palms (Mojave Desert area) while rehearsing/test detonating IEDs at a remote campsite.
• They had acquired precursor chemicals and all materials needed for complex pipe bombs.
• Plan: Simultaneous backpack IED attacks on multiple U.S. company locations in Southern California at midnight NYE.
• Detailed instructions on building bombs and avoiding trace evidence.
• TILF's public Instagram posts advocate violence against U.S. officials and call for "revolution."
Massive props to the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force, SWAT, bomb techs, and even the elite Hostage Rescue Team for staging in the desert and taking them down WITHOUT INCIDENT before any bombs could be built or detonated. A FIFTH linked suspect was arrested in New Orleans over the weekend planning a separate attack. Davis: "The FBI can organize and be ready" just like these radicals thought they could. This is far-left, pro-Palestinian, anti-government domestic terrorism, plain and simple.
Their ideology is all over their social media. Huge win for law enforcement keeping Americans safe. But how many more of these groups are out there? The mainstream media silence on this is DEAFENING. If the politics were reversed, it'd be wall-to-wall coverage.
