Representatives of New California State Riverside County spoke by phone to the Riverside County Board of Supervisors on November 28, 2023 to advise them that New California State is in possession of tabulator logs that are deemed fraudulent and were issued to the public as authentic under a public records request. The lack of proper supervision by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors has once again raised it ugly head as the Board just reached a $800,000 settlement agreement with the former Riverside County ROV Rebecca Spencer for failing to properly conduct elections. Ms. Spencer was placed on administrative leave and then resigned her position when the board approved the settlement earlier this month.

Speaking for New California as Citizens from Riverside County were Shelby Bunch, County Chair and New California State Senator, Heather Raymond and Cathy Camerato, New California State Assembly Member.

Elections are considered critical infrastructure, yet the Registrar’s Office, going back to 2020, did not keep proper records on the county’s Voting Equipment. Riverside County Counsel and the ROV have now presented the public with multiple sets of recreated Maintenance/Seal logs for the election equipment. The Riverside elections and the equipment used have been so poorly managed that when the public started making requests for the documents, they created documents to present to the public. For a government office to create documents to present to the public as authentic is a felony.
