Today the U.S. Supreme Court is set to consider whether or not to hear a lawsuit that seeks to remove President Joe Biden from the White House and reinstate former President Donald Trump to office. Docket Number 22-1028.

The Brunson v. Adams lawsuit claims that lawmakers violated their oaths of office by allegedly failing to investigate a foreign intervention in the 2020 presidential race which allegedly rigged the election against Trump.

The case is based on the claim that the defendants—who include Congress members, Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and former Vice President Mike Pencevoted to certify the 2020 presidential election after receiving a valid request from 154 members of Congress to investigate unfounded claims of electoral fraud in six states.

New California State has filed an Amicus in support of the Brunson case.

The Supreme Court declined to consider the lawsuit on January 9, but the plaintiff, Raland Brunson, filed an appeal on January 23. Now, the court has to reconsider whether or not to hear the case, according to an update on the SCOTUS’ website that read that the lawsuit was “distributed for conference” on Friday.

Now another Brunson brothers’ case has been docketed by SCOTUS. What is the Brunson brothers’ argument in these controversial cases? They are alleging that 385 members of Congress did not uphold their oath of office when they certified the 2020 Presidential election. Members of Congress decided to not hold an investigation into what possibly occurred during the election despite many claims of fraud in numerous states.

On January 6th of 2021, Texas Senator Ted Cruz pleaded with Congress to hold a ten day investigation before they agreed to certify the election. He cited a case from 1877 that helped in his argument in front of the Representatives. Congress of course did not listen to Cruz and decided to make Joe Biden the President of the United States. Many people believe that Congress broke its sworn oath to protect the United States citizens from foreign and also domestic threats. There is a strong case that supports their claims that this did indeed happen on January 6th.

Will the Supreme Court now has done the right thing and is actually hearing Loy Brunson’s court case. Millions of Americans are demanding that they do listen. Congress’ decision affected every American.
