Oroville Dam Spillway Opens

The Oroville Spillway gates opened for the second time since the April 2019 test of the new created a disaster for engineers. The first Test in April of 2019 yielded buckled plates and clogged drains when the flow over the deck was taken up to 66,000 cfs. Yes they stopped the testing after 5 days. Now the spillway was opened to a great anticipation when 15,000 cfs of was flowed for at 12:00 pm pst. Everything seemed fine ….except the drains on the side walls of the spill way known as training wall did not work. Developing story.
