Yesterday at 11:11 AM · So the California State Association of Counties and the California League of Cities have weighed in on our lawsuit… in favor of the Governor! They argue that Newsom’s rule by executive order is good because it creates a “clear framework” that tells them what they can and cannot do. Yes dictatorships tend to do that! There’s only one problem… we live in a constitutional republic and that goes against fundamental principles of democracy and representative government. That these associations (who are supposed to be advocates for elected local representatives) don’t understand this is simply outrageous.
