Trump on why Pelosi, Schiff Not Informed of al-Baghdadi Raid: “Adam Schiff is the biggest leaker in Washington”

In the middle of the Syrian crisis and the impeachment investigation by the House Nancy Pelosi led a congressional delegation to Jordan. The members of the nine-person delegation included Armed Services Committee Chairman Rep. Susan Davis, D-Calif., Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., and Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the head of the Intelligence Committee, who is leading the impeachment inquiry against the president.
Seen as a last minute fishing expedition by Pelosi and Schiff to get “dirt” on President Trump, the trip had two stops: Jordan to see King Abdullah II and Afghanistan to meet with the President of Afghanistan and the Taliban.
President Trump tweeted in response to the delegations visit:
“Pelosi is now leading a delegation of 9, including Corrupt Adam Schiff, to Jordan to check out Syria. She should find out why Obama drew The Red Line In the Sand, & then did NOTHING, losing Syria & all respect. I did something, 58 missiles. One million died under Obama’s mistake!” tweeted Trump.
Pelosi, along with the nine-member Congressional delegation, met with Jordan’s King Abdullah II in the capital of Amman late Saturday for talks focusing on security and “regional stability,” according to a statement from her office.
According to Scott Adams of the Scott Adams Show he confirmed that both Pelosi and Schiff tried to get the King of Jordan to condemn President Trump’s decision to pull out of Syria, but they didn’t succeed. Instead, King Abdullah reinforced how important it is to maintain Syrian borders. According to the Jordan News Agency:
“Turning to the Syrian crisis, the King urged a political solution that safeguards Syria’s territorial integrity and the unity of its people, while guaranteeing the safe and voluntary return of refugees. The meeting also covered regional and international efforts to counter terrorism within a comprehensive approach”.
Adams explained that the King was not at all happy with the questioning he was being subjected to by Adam Schiff. Schiff, Adams explained was not happy with leading questions by Schiff that were not producing the answers he was looking for from the King. Schiff was not happy and continued to press with questions about President Trump and his search for quid pro quo. King Abdullah was agitated with the line of questioning by Schiff.
The U.S. Embassy in Amman said the delegation left Jordan early Sunday but gave no further details on where it was heading. Source in congress told Agenda 21 Radio that in fact the delegation went to Afghanistan where they not only met with the President of Afghanistan but with the Taliban.
At this point most people would seem to think that the role of determining foreign policy is that of the President and you’d be correct. The constitution gives the President the authority to negotiate and make treaties with foreign leaders not the House or Senate.
The Logan Act, enacted in January 30, 1799, is a United States federal law that criminalizes negotiation by unauthorized persons with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States. The act has never been used but it is still a felony to violate the act. The Obama administration attempted to use the act against Michael Flynn.
October 17, 2019 “Surprise” Visit to Afghanistan
Pelosi’s office announced the visit which came as a surprise to most. Her office said her delegation was briefed by U.S. diplomats on reconciliation efforts with the Taliban and also met Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah and civil society leaders, including Afghan women.
“Our delegation emphasized the central importance of combating the corruption which endangers security and undermines the Afghan people’s ability achieve a stable and prosperous future,” Pelosi said. “We underscored that the women of Afghanistan must be at the table for reconciliation talks.”

The delegation focused on reconciliation efforts with the Taliban, among other topics.”Meeting with and hearing directly from our troops and diplomats on the ground is essential for Congress to conduct effective oversight of our mission in Afghanistan,” Pelosi said. “We will return to Washington strengthened with the facts and the first-hand knowledge we have gathered at this critical time for our nation’s Afghanistan policy and inspired by the courage of our service members and diplomats on the front lines.”
October 27, 2019 Trump Makes Announcement of Raid
Sunday, Trump confirmed ISIS terrorist and leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed by US Special Forces in Syria.

Monday morning, Trump was asked about the raid and in particular, whether he believed Pelosi “and others” trustworthy with “this kind of information.”
Reporter: “Mr. President, are you concerned that Nancy Pelosi and others can’t be trusted with this kind of information?”
Trump: “They were talking about why I didn’t give information to Adam Schiff and his committee and the answer is because I think Adam Schiff is the biggest leaker in Washington. You know that, I know that, we all know. I’ve watched Adam Schiff leak. He’s a corrupt politician. He’s a leaker like nobody’s ever seen before.”
Congressional leaders, including Reps Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff were not informed of the operation in advance and so Pelosi whined publicly about being left in the dark.
As Professor Jacobson pointed out Sunday, leaking has consequences.
Trump explained in his press conference that he informed countries, including Russia and others, over whose territory or through whose air defenses U.S. forces had to fly that an operation was underway, but did not inform them of the purpose. That was necessary to avoid fire on U.S. aircraft.
But Trump didn’t inform Congressional leaders until the troops were safely out of harms way, because he feared the leaks that have plagued congress and his own administration would endanger the troops.

The Pentagon released footage, Wednesday, October 30, of the U.S. Special Forces operation, that led to the death of Islamic State group chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Among the images released by the Defense Department was grainy black-and-white footage of U.S. troops approaching on foot the high-walled compound in northwestern Syria where Baghdadi was holed up.
The Pentagon also released video of airstrikes on a group of unknown fighters on the ground who opened fire on the helicopters that ferried U.S. forces in for the assault on Baghdadi’s compound in Syria’s Idlib province.
Before and after pictures of the isolated compound were also released. The compound was razed by U.S. munitions after the raid, leaving it looking like “a parking lot with large potholes,” said Marine Corps General Kenneth McKenzie, commander of US Central Command.
During a press briefing military leaders released video showing the U.S. raid that killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Marine Corps Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie, Jr., commander of U.S. Central Command said “The operation was exquisitely planned and executed.”

What did the Army Rangers find in al-Baghdadi’s compound?
The Rangers took a treasure trove of information out of the compound before the compound was leveled, reduced to several deep craters and mounds of rubble. Hard drives, cloths, and documents were just a sampling of the the items that would reveal their human connections to the terrorist al-Baghdadi the msn who created ISIS.
Among the finds are sets of finger prints and DNA samplings from various people at the compound and others not present during the raid. Sources came to Agenda 21 Radio and revealed that two sets of prints were identified as belonging to Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi.
