The latest entry to the race comes from the Maryland-based NovavaxNVAX +0%. On Sunday, a representative from the company told participants at a major vaccine meeting in Philadelphia that they’d achieved immunity in mice using a vaccine based on a synthetic delivery system called a nanoparticle.
