President Trump says U.S. authorities will not rest until all the perpetrators in the 2012 Benghazi attack are brought to justice.

In a statement Monday, the president assured families of the four Americans killed in the attack their loved ones are not forgotten.

“Our memory is deep and our reach is long, and we will not rest in our efforts to find and bring the perpetrators of the heinous attacks in Benghazi to justice,” President Trump stated.

This comes after special ops forces– ordered by the president— captured a key militant in the assault.

Mustafa al-Imam was detained in Libya on Sunday, and will face justice in the U.S.

Meanwhile, the alleged ring leader Ahmed Abu Khattala has pleaded not guilty to several charges including murder of an American officer.

President Trump has thanked all law enforcement who helped track the suspects down.
