Bowe Bergdhal Expected to Plead Guilty

The parents of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who was held captive by the Taliban for half a decade after abandoning his Afghanistan post will not be able to keep their son from going to prison perhaps for life.

The controversy over the exchange of a U.S. soldier for five senior Taliban fighters at Guantanamo Bay could rival or even surpass Benghazi.

Bergdhal is expected to plead guilty to desertion and misbehavior before the enemy, two individuals with knowledge of the case said.
