Update………..According to Chriss Street the new revised number by the U.S. FOREST SERVICE has been increased to 81 dams. Chriss Street just reported to Agenda 21 Radio that the Marines as part of a DEPARTMENT of DEFENSE mission authorized by former President Obama are going to blow up as many as 81 dams in Orange County, CA in addition to the ones mentioned in the story below…..Developing

Despite President Trump starting the 90-day clock required to set new rules to curtail the Obama Administration’s radical environmental ‘Waters of the U.S.’ executive orders, the U.S. Marines just started blowing up 10 dams in Orange County.

Orange County environmentalists howled recently that there are no native fish to protect, when they learned that U.S. Marines had just finished using huge containers of C4-military explosive on March 22 to blow up the first three of the five 5- to 100-year-old hand built rock dams along the Silverado Creek’s iconic Holy Jim Falls trail.

President Trump on February 28 ordered the required “90-day review period ” for the Obama Administration’s 2015 ‘Waters of the U.S.’ rules that extended the 1972 Clean Water Act to give the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency authority over all of the America’s smaller streams and marshes of any size, under an initiative called “wilding.”

Although farmers, ranchers, builders and other private interests have generally been successful in litigating in federal court against the spectacular expansion of federal land use control under the ‘Waters of the U.S,’ the Obama Administration’s EPA and Interior Department have had a free reign for actions involving federally owned lands and parks.

The OC Register reported that the County of Orange, to carry out as much of the radical Obama “restoration” initiative for as little and as quickly as possible, hired U.S. Marines to blow up 10 dams. For the fir $70,000 tranche, Marines blew up one OC dam on the Holy Jim Falls trail on March 21, and then two more on March 22.

HOLY JIM TRAIL, ORANGE COUNTY, CA

Many OC environmentalist supporters of the ‘Waters of the U.S.’ goal of restoring riparian water flows to all U.S. rivers and creeks, went ballistic when they learned that the Obama EPA executive order was obliterate the secret swimming holes that were key to the idyllic Holy Jim Falls trail that won Orange County Register’s ‘Best of the OC 2012’ hiking trail.

Although the Cleveland National Forrest’s 2.8-mile round-trip hike to the Holy Jim Falls only takes about two hours to walk, it includes crossing nearly a dozen little rivers and three swimming and fishing ponds that constantly change according to rainfall and the seasons. But it has remained secluded, since intrepid visitors must go 5 miles to Bear Springs, 6 miles to Coldwater Trail and 8 miles to Santiago Peak to get to the trail.

The ‘Save Holy Jim Dams’ Facebook page reads like a horror story about Obama Administration’s environmental policy running amuck. The Forrest Service first mentioned they were moving forward to remove the Holy Jim Falls trail’s hand-built rock ponds on March 7. No mention was made that explosives would be involved or the dams that act as flood control would be removed before the end of the rainy season.

Extensive research had already proved that the three “fishing holes” along the Holy Jim trail could not be part of the Steelhead Recovery Plan that local environmentalists fought hard for to protect endangered fish.

It was documented that trout only appeared in area’s creeks after the Forrest Service began decades ago stocking the ponds and streams with farmed fingerlings. As a result of the studies, “Trabuco and Holy Jim were removed from there critical habitat map,” because it was determined that it would have been an “absurdity” that trout had ever gone 20 miles up steep streams and waterfalls to spawn in the three Holy Jim trail ponds.

OC environmentalist are also baffled that the EPA did not consider that blowing up the dams will destroy habitat and release decades of silt that will wipeout significant amounts of newts, frogs and other “aquatic species breeding and residing in and near the water.”

The County of Orange has hired the U.S. Marines to soon start blowing up similar small dams along the larger Trabuco Canyon creek.

My God, liberals really are like Hitler. If they can’t have it their way, destroy it all. Leave the earth scorched. And what sort of rule of law do we have if the president says NO, and people do what they damn well please anyway… with impunity no less?

It is time for a revolution people.

And FYI the people of california are off the charts asshat nuts.

This is a consequence of ceding local control to the Feds. Why do folks insist on re-learning old lessons — “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.'” R. Reagan
