AT 11:00 am pst today the New California State Movement declared it’s intent to become an independent new state in the United States. Speaking in Marysville, CA, Paul Preston the Vice Chair of the New California State movement read the “Declaration of Independence Intention to form the State of New California January 15, 2018” document that declared New California intended follow Article IV, Section 3 which allows citizens from a state to form a new state through a state split.

Before the reading of the Declaration of Independence Preston read a Disclaimer from a prepared document which stated the following: ”

DISCLAIMER

The New California State movement is a citizen movement following Article IV Section 3 of the United States Constitution which provides for a state split to create a NEW state.

The New California State movement is NOT a movement to form a new country.

Preston’s disclaimer was followed by LaVern Denyer who read the “Affirmation of Allegiance to the United States of America and Justification for the Formation of the State of New California January 15, 2018“.
