More California Counties are joining the New California Statehood movement. Paul Preston who serves as the New California State Vice Chair announced the most recent status of certified and ‘to be” certified counties who are wanting to declare their independence from the state of California and become the 51st state of the Union the State of New California.
At the November 18, 2017 meeting in Marysville, CA of the New California Council of County Representatives the counties of Kern, Sonoma and Santa Clara Counties were certified by a vote of the County Representatives.
What started out as 3 original citizen county committees of the 58 counties in California has now developed into 15 ‘certified’ and 12 “to be” certified citizen county committees by December 16, 2017.
Since the November 18, 2017 meeting there are an additional 11 counties who have formed organized committees including Siskiyou, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, Shasta, Plumas, Lassen, Merced, Glenn and Stanislaus. An additional 12 counties are in process to be organized by mid December 2017 including portions of Los Angeles county, San Benito, Tulare and Stanislaus counties.
If all the counties become certified by the December 16, 2017 date the total number of New California State counties will represent over half of the state of California’s counties.
Additional Counties Want Onboard
Of the 58 counties in California citizens from 49 counties around California have expressed an interest to establish citizen county committees to become a county within the New California State movement. “The number of people showing interest from all these counties has been overwhelming” according to Preston. The passion for a New California State is much bigger and stronger than most people realize.
Constitutional Movement
New California is the only Constitutional movement of the four current attempts to break up the state of California and the only real chance to make a new state such as New California.
