The New California State movement is growing.  At the November 18, 2017 meeting of the New California Council of County Representatives the counties of Kern, Sonoma and Santa Clara Counties were certified by a vote of the County Representatives. This brings the total ‘ratified’ counties in the New California State movement to 15 Counties.  Currently there are an additional 11 counties who have formed organized committees including Siskiyou, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, Shasta, Plumas, Lassen, Merced, Glenn and Stanislaus.  An additional 12 counties are in process to be organized by mid December 2017. New California’s goal is to be at 40 ratified counties by January 1, 2018.

Ruralness First: Can Additional Counties Join New California?

The original map pictured below indicates 42 blue New California counties and 16 gold California counties.  When the map was released New California was asked by several counties in the gold area if there could be any consideration to adding their counties to new California?  The answer is yes.  The original map was designed to give representation to rural counties so “ruralness first” has been the top consideration .  As we’ve seen with the lack of representation issue as demonstrated with previous efforts to separate the state between Northern and Southern California the main urban population centers fall into three areas of the state Sacramento, San Fransisco and Los Angeles. Of the 40 million people in California roughly 25 million are in the 3 urban areas leaving roughly 15 million in the rural.  To attain a population of 15 million people in the 58 California counties would mean all rural counties would have to join with several portions of heavily populated urban areas.

So how do those gold counties who want to become part of New California?  First send New California and ‘contact’ form.https://newcaliforniastate.com/contact. Second someone from New California will contact you to discuss the status and level of involvement that exists.  Third a decision will be reached if the entire county or just certain areas of the county will become a part of New California. The decision to include certain areas of counties in the gold portion was reached after consultation with legal advisors. Note Sonoma and Santa Clara Counties were just ‘certified’ as counties in New California.  However the first consideration for the counties is the inclusion of rural areas in these counties. Additional counties who are seeking to join New California from the gold area are portions of Los Angeles, Ventura, San Benito, San Luis Obispo and Monterey.

We are still in need of people to either become County Chairs or join their county committee. If you are interested in becoming a part of the New California movement to create the 51st state of the Union then visit the New California State website at https://newcaliforniastate.com and fill out the contact form.https://newcaliforniastate.com/contact

  1. This is a great idea. Its amazing as i look at this map how the large cities have taken away the real voice of our state with their political correctness that is all about illegal immigration and bad politics for the citizens of this state. We need to change the way people think and stop being such liberal bleeding heart liberals here. This is the worst state in the union for their liberal politics and we need to stop what is going on before its to late.

  2. Once they’re gone can we build a wall around “gold” Ca and be done with them? I know they want San Diego, Humbolt, and Del Norte to join them badly so they can run NAFTA up from Mexico.
