Guest Speaker CA Assemb. James Gallagher: Feather River Tea Party

AGENDA 21 RADIO

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(YUBA CITY) Today the new Feather River Tea Party Patriots announced Assemblyman James Gallagher will be the Special Guest Speaker for their next Meeting, Monday, December 4, 2017.

Assemblyman Gallagher represents the 3rd California Assembly District encompassing parts of the Sacramento Valley. Prior to being elected to the State Assembly, he was the Sutter County District 5 Supervisor.

Lately, Assemblyman Gallagher has been focused on Oroville Dam. He’s still fighting for transparency, accountability, and long-term changes to operations and maintenance. It’s not enough to fix the spillway and call it good. There are also downstream impacts that need to be addressed, like the massive silt buildup in the river.

He’ll also be talking about his “Representation Equality Act” (ACA 16) and his efforts to change the makeup in Sacramento to bring more common-sense voices to the State Capitol.

Don’t forget – Our regular feature In The News with Paul Preston, Agenda 21 Radio, will follow our Special Guest Speaker. Paul will be discussing events of the day.

Following the meeting, everyone is invited to our pie and ice cream social.
