OROVILLE DAM: PAUL PRESTON interviews CHRISS STREET from BREITBART who gives us the latests on the Oroville Dam situation. Chriss explains the historical significance of this current event and the history of the Brown legacy as it relates to present day.

Before there was Jerry Brown Jr. there was his father Edmond G. “Pat” Brown his father who was the governor of California in the 1960’s who built California’s infrastructure for the transportation and water reservoir system. In 1975 Jerry Brown Jr. his son was sworn in as California Governor. Jerry brown Jr. was sweep into office following the environmental movements of the 1970’s which brought the nation it’s first earth day. Jerry feeling empowered enacted numerous repressive environmental regulations and buracracies including the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and his desire unlike his father to stop the population increases California was experiencing from immigration to California from other states in the union. Chriss explains the details behind the major problems facing the possible destruction of Oroville dam.”

Jerry Brown in his first year as Governor began the trend to slash California infrastructure spending from a national high 20 percent of the state budget when he took office in 1975 to the nation’s second worst at 3.4 percent this year, an 83 percent cut, according to a study by the Center for Budget and Policy Priorities”.
